Power Management Systems Engineer (Staff to Principal Level)

AnDAPT, the pioneer of a new genre of adaptive analog technology that combines digital programmable fabric with µAnalog power building blocks, is seeking a talented electrical engineer to join our Applications/Systems team.

Our groundbreaking monolithic merges the proven proficiency of analog power with FPGA flexibility, facilitating the integration of heterogeneous rails, optimization for user applications, and the capacity to monitor, control, and manage power efficiently.


The successful candidate will possess a robust background in Power Management, with specific expertise in Control Architectures, Transient Response, Power Train losses, efficiency optimization, and PCB layout best practices. Clear communication skills are vital for both internal collaboration and customer interactions.

  • Develop Power Management mixed solutions, including Control Algorithms for Power Converters, Sequencers, Fault Management Controls, etc., and custom architectures tailored to customer needs.
  • Assist in defining development processes for Power Converters validation, internal and external documentation, and hardware/software interaction.
  • Contribute to system specifications for next-generation AnDAPT ICs.
  • Provide support for the development of customer tools and documentation.
  • Offer business development support by providing technical documentation, market advice, screening and analyzing opportunities and customer specs, and leading custom projects for key opportunities.
  • Perform performance optimization and provide customer support.

Skills and Experience:

  • BSEE, MSEE Preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in Power Electronics or PhD with 2 years of experience.
  • Deep knowledge of basic power converters control architectures (Voltage Mode, Peak Current Mode, Constant On Time, etc.).
  • Experience in system simulation and control algorithm development.
  • Hands-on lab experience and debugging skills.
  • Location: Cork or Dublin, Ireland.

Additional skills considered a plus:

  • Digital Power expertise.
  • Proficiency in Verilog.
  • Experience with multi-phase controllers.
  • Familiarity with using FPGA for algorithm development.
